Afternoon everybody,
Slept late today, haemoroids very painful and I didn't sleep from 3am until 6, fell into a dead sleep then, didn't wake until 10 .
Ruby......I have had two Covid tests before my hip operation. Throat one is three or four seconds, nasal one seven......I think that you will be ok, you feel you can't handle it and then it's over, so don't worry about it, you will be fine.
15 c here today, so OH hasn't felt the need to light the fire, just heating is on.....he feels the cold badly and I do not so I am not very comfortable in the living room......will have to open a window if I want to knit later!
The last of the puddings is now steaming, I feel very organised......I am just making an Oxford lunch cake for Christmas so will not do that for a while.......likewise mince pies as they disappear as soon as they leave the oven!
I think that I will manage a walk later, I need to do that or I stiffen up.
Have a good day all and stay safe

Well... that's Glasgow in Tier 4 from Friday - so no more breakfasts with friends until after December 11th. It's so disappointing though inevitable. On the good news (MSE)front I was looking at a rain jacket since before the weekend, moving between buying it and not buying it. Then I sent a query to the retailer on Friday, got a response today and went back to their website to order it - sold out in my size and colour. However, I did an online search and found what I wanted at Fenwicks (of Newcastle) at less than half price with free delivery. Now I'm glad I hesitated over it.EDIT - seems I bagged the last one too! Double happiness.I've spent the morning sorting out files on my laptop - again. It's all very well scanning, I seem to stop at the sorting part. Need a Hogwarts hat.
