Rewards for Forces/Forces Discoount cards

As US veteran living in the UK,  the Forces Discount card is for MOD only (not US vets) so I can not apply.  the Rewards for forces card will accept me though. Any comments from anyone about the Rewards for forces scheme (£12/lifetime)  Is it worth it, is it widely accepted?  Any negative experiences?  Thank You

They both seem to have the same companies signed up with the same discount
  • Mate, I gotta tell ya about the sick deals I've scored from Forces Cars Direct. These guys sort us out with some top-notch discounts on new and used cars ... And their customer service is absolutely spot on - they really went the extra mile to help myself and the Mrs find the right car.

    Defo check em out!

I've just had £180 off the cost of a cruise using Rewards For Forces.  No problem.
