Question about broadband and tv

Options
I'm moving house soon and wanted to ask if I just choose a provider to install broadband without any sort of tv package, is it possible to then get Netflix and
Prime on my TV? Do I need a special kind of tv to do this? Sorry if it is a stupid question but I'm rubbish with technology...just looking for a cheap way to continue to watch a wide variety of programs and use the internet.

Netflix and Prime work on any internet connection, doesn't matter who provides it.
However if you have an existing  TV  with a HDMI port you can add Netflix and Prime via external means like a Firestick for example.
If you're in the market for a new TV, Smart TVs have Netflix and Prime built in.  You just sign up to Netflix/Amazon and sign in with your credentials.
