What rights do we have, regarding deliveries by Deliveroo?

Why did you mention your disability and tight budget, then? In the context you posted them in, you clearly included them for some reason.0

Like I stated the first time I received nothing. They sent a email telling me which items they could not deliver, and the price which was 30 pounds. It said on the app delivered. I spoke to their customer service team in live chat. Basically he said t6he app showed that it was delivered, and because of that I would not get any credit or refund. So they took 30 pounds of my money, and I got nothing. Hope that answers your questions. Thanks jon81uk and diddydavis for a decent reply.
Some of the stories raised have to be read to be believed.
TBH. Your post make sense, if you were used to home deliveries. If you did not then the amounts throw a doubt to the story.
Your issue is now finding out where it was delivered to. Only Deliveroo by contacting the driver can find that out. But if they are of the same standard as they are round here, then I do not hold out much hope of them even remembering picking it up, let alone where they left it....
Even going to your bank on a non receipt chargeback is most likely going to fail, as all Deliveroo have to prove is it was delivered. It does not matter where....
But I would give it a try for £30. They may not contest it. It does not cost you anything. Or raise it up the CoOp chain and see if they will assist with some good will.Life in the slow lane0 -
Maybe being called a troll stops them posting again. or they found good advice else where? who knows?
In case you do not realise people are in lock down. When it takes over a week to get a food shop delivered from a supermarket, and we are on the list. I could ring up my supermarket, with a list but that takes time, and its limited to what they will deliver. I don't have to explain to ppl on a forum how much I choose to spend. And the only trolls here are the ones who keep suggesting it on my posts!
