If you are contractually entitled to it, it should form part of the calculation of your reference salary for CJRS (what your employer claims for your wage). If your furlough agreement says that what your employer recovers under CJRS is what you will be paid while on furlough, then it should be included in your furlough payment.0

Hi there
i started my annual holiday which was a lot as I hadn't used any the year so my last day of work was on 4th November till next yeah now so before lock down has been announced I'm employe had now pull me on furlough even tho I'm on holiday before is that allowed? They said they will top up my wage but will it make a difference to my full holiday pay or just the top up
just really unsure why I'm on furlough if I was already on holiday till the end of year
thanks0 -
It makes no difference to you, as you are being paid 100% of your wage and are on holiday.1

Thank you it's Just from the gov website says they should not put me on furlough tho if already on holiday but if that all good then Great

Ha, like any employer is actually going to be doing this when they can get the bulk of your holiday days paid for by the taxpayer, wishful thinking by our lovely government.Jadd85 said:Thank you it's Just from the gov website says they should not put me on furlough tho if already on holiday but if that all good then Great

As I said, it makes no difference to you, so why bother yourself about it?0

Because as we all know people prefer to be sitting on their Aarse picking up 80% with the prospect of months of holidays as soon as they are required to get of said aarse. No offence to the OP btwJeremy535897 said:As I said, it makes no difference to you, so why bother yourself about it?0
