Removing default

Hi, I am looking for some help on what I can do to get a default removed.
In January of 2019 I had 2 payday loans with Sunny. From what I was told by them they had mixed my account up with another customer who had gone into a IVA. I called up straight away it was rectified and I paid the loans back on time.
In April 2019 I checked my Equifax credit file and had defaults from both of these loans. I made a complaint and they both got removed off my Equifax credit file shortly after.
in March this year I decided to buy my first property. The issue I have is that on one of the loans it still shows as a default through Transunion. I have made a number of complains to sunny since and keep getting it will get removed in 30 days time but never does. I have had managers confirming will be done. I had a email complaint outcome showing will be done but it’s still there.
I have spoken to the FCA who say they can’t help as the company is now in administration, I have spoken to the administrators but keep getting the same response with my credit file not being updated. I spoke to Transunion who say they never got a response from Sunny when I disputed it with them.
What else can I do to rectify this as really struggling to get a mortgage and have been told it’s due to this default from January 2019.
Thanks.

You have to follow Sunny's complaint resolution procedure, which is somewhat complicated by them being in administration. They do however still have administrators operating systems, you need to document your contact with them first. However the issue might be more that credit file updates are very slow at the moment, so it might have been actioned, but not made it through the systems yet.MKJ212 said:What else can I do to rectify this as really struggling to get a mortgage and have been told it’s due to this default from January 2019.

Also its the ICO that deals with all data complaints, should you wish to escalate the matter, however, again, this may be complicated by sunny entering administration.
