EDF - Unable to get through - anyone else?
I need to speak to EDF about a metering problem with my account, but since Friday, everytime I have called them, I have been placed in a queue for over 10 minutes and have then been cut off. What is really strange is that when I have called them previously, they have answered my call really quickly. Is anyone else experiencing this problem. Do you think they see my phone number and think "I don't want to deal with him?" - I say this semi-jokingly, but I am unsure why there are problems all of a sudden.

If possible try the online chat instead. It'll be due to lockdown, less CS agents to take calls, system not working as well due to people working from home, more people contacting them about issues because customers are also at home using more energy. I've had some experience with trying to contact British Gas during the first lockdown on behalf of someone on the priority services register, their response has been abysmal. Will be encouraging them to move to another supplier when their current deal is up.0
