Drafty double glazed windows - solutions and prices?

Hi All
All the double glazed windows in my house let in drafts when there are strong winds, feeling around it appears to be where the window shuts rather then around the edge of the frames, I can see tiny gaps where the rubber is not flush with the window even when you close the window.
I would like to call in someone to rectify this but just wanted to get some advice first so I know questions to ask and understand enough to know which quote to go for, I imagine its possible just to replace the rubbers that meet the window when you shut it?
Advice appreciated

Yes, if the DG is old, and the weather strip is warn/distorted, you can replace the rubber strip (the gasket). There are a number of versions and you may be able to identify which is needed. e.g.or companies will do this and fit it for you.Another problem could be warn hinges or handle catches, causing the opening window to droop or not be pulled in fully. Again, you can do this yourself or get a company to fully refurbish for you.

We have a lady WindowWoman who is brilliant at putting right problems with double glazing, locks, hinges etc. She's always in work and will repair what's asked and offers to do a survey of all windows and doors for a fixed fee so you know what needs doing now and what might give shortly. So busy that I see we have another guy who is doing the same thing. I think that makes 3 in a small town area. There's bound to be something similar near you and probably cheaper than a major company.I've suddenly had 2 window frames part company within the frame and my first thought was 'new window
' but apparantly it can be fixed with screws that can come away over time. Great relief. Your's sounds like adjustment is needed though new seals are a good idea too.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
