Help - Purchasing my Contract Hire Vehicle

Good morning,
I have been given a figure to purchase my Contract Hire vehicle, just printed off the paperwork to sign and noticed 'Due to contract hire regulations, we cannot sell the vehicle to the lessee'.
Does anyone know the implications of having the car put in someone else's name and then them then transferring over to me? The funds would be sent from me directly to the car company.
Any other way round this?

The only implication is an extra keeper on the V5C.

What are they proposing as a way round it?
Are you getting a good enough deal on the sale to go to the hassle?

It's possible it will be sold to you by BCA or other automotive management company who acts as a trader, on behalf of finance company. That's how it works with VWFS.
Just contact finance company and ask about it.

Are you sure it is a good deal.  I have looked at this in the past and it was a shockingly bad deal, so please be on your guard.

Are the quoting "regulations" as in the law of the land?
Or, by "regulations", do they mean their commercial agreement with the car manufacturer?
