What is the overall cost of conveyancing at the minute, just put property on market and keen to get an idea of what to expect, its been a while also..Thanks0

when we bought/sold last year we paid £500 in advance for both selling and buying legal work, deducted from the final bill of course.0

Likewise, sold a property in September and paid £300 upfront and that was with a friend doing the conveyancing.

We had to pay £250 in advance for sale only, don't remember doing this last time but didn't seem unreasonable to me though know firm is reputable.1
