Redundancy &Tupe

I found out last week that I'm being made compulsory redundant after 17 years. The department I work were outsourced 3.5 years ago. I have worked full time 13 years but the last 4, part time hours to suit family life. The previous employers took into account the years full time and part time worked and calculated on all years worked. Another kick in the teeth, compulsory employees have to work 3 months notice, but the voluntary redundancies got to leave, with redundancy plus 3 months pay. Waiting to hear back from Union. Thankyou

This has nothing to do with TUPE, it's to protect employee's terms and conditions when a company is taken over.
    Now a gainfully employed bassist.

What’s your question? Whether they will take into account your previous full time hours? The answer is no. It will be based on what you’ve worked for the last 4 years.
