May was very productive, just under £800 by selling off belongings, in order to do a big move later in the year!
Running out of things to sell now, so don't think June's going to be so good!
But £40 today with another sale, so not too bad a start.

It's the second (matched betting is something I'm looking at getting into over the summer), and I do include it as it is money that I've made, similar to lottery wins. It's a bit of fun for me and it's a bonus if I make some profit.

I imagine matched betting could be be quite difficult to get into if you’ve done a lot of gambling in the past. It’s quite a different mind set. That said I’ve never been much of a gambler so maybe I’m wrong.

I've checked out a good few YouTube videos on it and it seems quite straightforward to my mathematical, process-obsessed brain - I am going to be doing a bit more research on it before I make the decision on whether to go into it or not.

I suppose because the way I bet is somewhat mathematical and process-oriented, and that the matched betting would be in a completely different area to what I bet on (I bet on the horses, jumps only, and only on outsiders with a decent chance of getting into the places or on ones up there in the betting that really should win), I think it will be relatively easy for me to be detached mentally. As I said though, more research needed for definite!
