Fit laminate worktop £390

Had a quote to fit 3 x 3m lengths of worktop for £390. Does this sound excessive or ok? I’d assumed it would be half this when I budgeted for it.

Get couple of more quotes in. Routed in joints might cost fair bit but even U shaped worktop can only have 2 of them . 390 seems quite a bit more than I would expect or be willing to pay, maybe more than half of 390 but not much more is about right....1

seems expensive. how long can it take? if it's a full days work for a joiner around £250ish is fair, but I really can't see how it would take nearly 2 days at that rate.
also worth remembering that it is the bit you are going to see for the next 10 years, so at the same time steer clear of people offering to do it for £50 if you want it doing properly0 -
If the walls are uneven, all the backs will need scribing to the walls. If there is a hob and sink to be installed there will be further cut outs to be made. The price could be right if you are in the SE of England. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0
