APCOA PCN

Hi, I have received a PCN through the post for the Tesco car park in St Stephens (Hull). I was there for well within the 2 hour time slot and spent the £5 required in Tesco to validate the parking. I shop there regularly and refuse to believe I failed to validate the parking (reinforced by the fact there are now Hull Daily Mail articles stating this has happened to many people shopping there around that time period). The apparent incident occurred on the 3rd October and the PCN was issued on the 4th November so I haven’t got my receipt to prove I shopped there. Please may I have some advice on if I can appeal this and how I do it successfully? (The images of the PCN are attached if this helps) Thanks 0

Advice given on those threads remains valid for you.
ETA Apologies, first link seems not to have been edited incorrectly by me and is now broken!2 -
So basically all I need to do is appeal using the ‘One size fits all’ template and that should settle things?0

Not necessarily
Yes you use the blue text template from the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , appealing as keeper
If they reject your appeal , you appeal to Popla as keeper mainly using POFA , no keeper liability
No blabbing about who was driving not to anyone
Complaints should also be made about this fiasco to the BPA and to Tesco too1 -
You seem to have missed (when you carefully read the other Hull faulty machine scam threads) that we also want all three of you to make a complaint to Steve Clark at the BPA. We want APCOA sanctioned for pretending the machine was working, and we want all PCNs refunded to any idiots dumb enough to have paid.AidanB123 said:So basically all I need to do is appeal using the ‘One size fits all’ template and that should settle things?

This OP needs to complain to Steve Clark, as do the other 2 posters there.
All these PCNs MUST be refunded.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
