Hi all Hope your all well.
Watching some live sport video streamed on laptop great picture, but when i connect the laptop to the tv the picture is good but when the players run they go all zigzagy. (technical term lol). Its probably down to refresh rates, but was wondering if there is anything to try/change settings on tv. Any help would be much appreciated.

The TV is designed for 50Hz. The laptop will almost certainly be at 60Hz.You can change the refresh rate in Windows 10 the Advanced Display Settings (type that into the search bar on the taskbar)1

You may have to select the TV and properties of that.Different devices you connect bring up different options depending on the handshake information, but you're in the right area.1

Some handle motion better than others.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".1 -
Is it this effect?
