Beware false savings claims.
Energy
Helpline may be over-stating the cost of your current service. In my
case my Avro Energy costs were over-estimated by £114 and they claimed a
£61 saving with E-on which in reality was an additional cost of £53. So
make sure you know your current costs before committing. Also be
prepared for repeated calls from Energy Helpline (020 3974 9266). I
don't know how they got my number.0

Its highly probable that the "savings" were calculated assuming that you would be switched over to Avro's "standard" variable tariff when your fix finished. This is not Energyhelpline's fault directly ,as it it mandated by OFGEM that "savings" should be based on a full year with your existing supplier.1
