Balance transfer from Ireland?

I’ve got a big balance on my old Irish credit card and would like to transfer the balance to avail of 0% rates. I now live in England and want to know if there are any credit cards that allow balance transfers from an Irish credit card?

Comments

  • No.
However if you are UK resident and been here for at least 3 years then you could apply for a money transfer card.
Transfer the cash into your bank account (or any digital bank of your choosing) then pay your Irish bank account (then transfer it to your credit card).
I am assuming here of course that you are from the Republic.
  • Yes I’m from the Republic and have been here over 3 years. Never heard of a money transfer card! Sounds good. I’ll look into them. Thanks for the info
