ISA stocks and shares platform - iWeb alternatives?

Hi All
Was wondering if anyone can give their personal recommendations for a platform for my stocks and shares ISA, I currently use iWeb which has done the job however I find myself increasingly wanting to invest in funds which they do not have, I did contact support and they have no plans to add the ones I'm trying to invest in, the most recent example is Polar capital global technology.
On the MSE page they suggest interactive investor however that is £9.99 per month, if that is the best option I'll have no choice but to go for it but thought i'd get fellow members opinions on here first

I use AJ Bell and have been happy with the service. You'll need to check whether the charges are competitive for your planned use of the service. If you need help to check whether AJ Bell or any other provider can handle the funds you want to invest in you, if you post the ISIN, SEDOL or other reference code here, an existing user can check for you.The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.2

It depends on the size of your pot. II's £9.99/month is very cheap for a £200K pot, but expensive for a £5K one.
I use II, AJBell and Bestinvest. They are all fine and probably are able to provide anything you want.
To compare platform costs look at Snowman's Spreadsheet: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5583030/coolly-comparing-investment-platform-charges-snowmans-spreadsheet/p12 -
Choice of platform is down to value of your pot, the larger it is the more likely a flat fee platform is worthwhile and how often you trade. You aren't restricted to one platform of course, so you could have a large sum in one (or more) cheap tracker fund for example, and then use another for smaller amounts that you will trade more often, the latter could take £20k from this year's allowance and the historic contributions stay where they are.dellboy102 said:Hi AllWas wondering if anyone can give their personal recommendations for a platform for my stocks and shares ISA, I currently use iWeb which has done the job however I find myself increasingly wanting to invest in funds which they do not have, I did contact support and they have no plans to add the ones I'm trying to invest in, the most recent example is Polar capital global technology. On the MSE page they suggest interactive investor however that is £9.99 per month, if that is the best option I'll have no choice but to go for it but thought i'd get fellow members opinions on here first

Thank you all, my pot is relatively small at £30k and I average 1 trade a month, I think psychologically I like the flat fee model but I guess I should do the maths and work out whats best

X-O ISA has no annual fee and a £5.95p dealing charge. Downside is that don't offer funds. PCT do however an Investment Trust version of the fund.0

Can recommend both A J Bell Youinvest and Hargreaves Lansdown.1

II charge £9.99 per month but then credits you with one free trade per month. The credits last for 3 months if you don't use them at first.

Are you sure the monthly Free Trade lasts for 3 months ?LHW99 said:II charge £9.99 per month but then credits you with one free trade per month. The credits last for 3 months if you don't use them at first.
I've looked all over the I.I. site and cannot find that detail.
If it's true that makes I.I. more attractive to me.
My investing style tends to include timing. i.e. a few trades at once - rather than on a monthly schedule.
So a link to the I.I. page with that detail would be much appreciated.
Tks vm

The Polar Capital Technology Fund closed to new investors in June.
The investment trust version (GB0004220025) is still available on iWeb.2 -
At bottom of https://www.ii.co.uk/investor "** With each Service Plan, every month we give you free credit of £7.99 to be used against any trade. Each free credit is available for 90 days."Tarian said:
