Nectar double up for clinically extremely vulnerable

Just wasted 40 minutes on Sainsbury’s customer service line trying to get double points to use online. Past from option 5 (other) to deliveries though I was led to believe I was being passed to a supervisor!
Both had no idea of the changes reported on mse site recently. Left on hold 4 times while info was sought and then just cut off.
Sainsburys should double all points spent on deliveries since the last week of October so that the clinically vulnerable are not disadvantaged.
I will try again tomorrow. Has anybody got anywhere with this?

Nectar has been running double-up promos for several years now, allowing you to double your points to spend in Sainsbury's in certain categories, such as clothing, homeware and electricals.
Here are the need-to-knows:
- You can swap points for vouchers at Nectar.com only, ONCE between Wednesday 28 October and Tuesday 3 November.
- You then have a second window to exchange points for vouchers, this time via the Nectar app (available on Android and iPhone), from Wednesday 11 to Tuesday 17 November. There's no restriction on how many times you can exchange points via the app, and these will appear as digital double-up vouchers in your saved offers.
- You can spend double-up vouchers in larger Sainsbury's stores between 11 and 17 November, and can't spend the vouchers online. ................................

That article says that if you have already doubled your points and got a voucher you can swop the voucher for the actual double points to use online.

Just tried Sainsbury’s customer service again. Again got nowhere - had no idea about it - suggested I call Nectar. Another 20 minutes wasted!
It took another 32 minutes for Nectar to answer and they sorted it in under 5 minutes. Perhaps clinically extremely vulnerable people should be phoning Nectar on 03448110811 and not Sainsbury’s customer service as suggested on the mse site0 -
Hi got my double up point refunded - good news! I used the chat function on the Nectar webpage activate.apple.com and explained that I was isolating and they immediately refunded the points (1000) to the value of the double up (2000)
