    Not sure I understand the idea of backup. How is that arranged?
    You appoint a replacement, who steps in when the other can't act.
    I suggest you email the corresponding blank section 11's to your two sons or get them to locate them on the Government website. They'll need to print them out, sign them in front of a witness and post them back to you.
  • I don’t really see the point of making one son a back up attorney. If both are allowed to act jointly and severally then it achieves the same thing but gives more flexibility.
