Quick question about seller protection

Hello
Can I just check something? So that I am protected as a seller, when selling a more expensive item (£50) , I know I need to send it tracked to be eligible for seller protection. But does that mean just ‘signed for’? Or does it mean ‘special delivery’? I normally only sell cheap things, so just get proof of postage, but I’m worried the buyer will say they haven’t received their item (even if they have).

1st and 2nd Class parcels comes with delivery confirmation and £20 compensation, Signed For has £50.
Neither service is tracked and both rely on the postie doing their bit to scan or sign.
Special Delivery is expensive but a really good service.
Royal Mail Tracked sits in the middle, £100 compensation and tracked as it progresses, little chance of it going missing but not as good as Special.
eBay accept delivery scans or signatures for all of the above to cover you for an item not received case.

Just to clarify. This sounds like Royal Mail 24, or Royal Mail 48. In my experience if you buy these on the Royal Mail click and drop website they need to be posted at the sorting officeRoyal Mail Tracked sits in the middle, £100 compensation and tracked as it progresses, little chance of it going missing but not as good as Special.0 -
