Contract Hire mileage rebate

Hi All,
Took out a personal contract hire on a Citroen at the end of last year, 2 yr deal, great deal, anyway, based on 10k mileage allowance per annum, or 20k over the two years, however, due to Covid etc the car hasn't been used for events we would normally go to all through the summer months and beyond, meetings are held virtually etc, so have contacted the finance people and they say there is no rebate for unused mileage allowance, but I could contact them to see about reducing my total mileage allowance, but as I have another year to go and don't know if it'll get back to normal next year, I'm not sure how much I should reduce it by.
Just looking for any advice, I was sure there was some guidance a few years back to say that companies should offer a rebate, and on a previous deal with another company, I did receive a rebate, as in theory I had prepaid for those miles.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

Lower mileage should be reflected in the GMFV figure, which is based on 20,000 miles.

It's a contract hire, rather than a PCP so it's just a straight hand back at the end subject to the usual checks.

No you didn't 'prepay' for those miles. You contracted at 10K mileage  per year, if you go over you pay an excess per mile. But there is no provision in your contract for a rebate if you go under.
You can of course ask, but I wouldn't bank on it.

They came back and confirmed there is no rebate, but I have applied to reduce the overall mileage over the term of the contract, which should bring down the monthly cost.
Thanks to all the competition posters.
