"Forwarded Charge Refund" - any idea what it means?

Hi, before going to Nationwide, thought I'd check here.
I've got a transaction on my Nationwide online banking which says -
"Forwarded Charge Refund" followed by a 15 digit number, and a credit of £100.
Any idea what a Forwarded Charge Refund might mean?

You may have been refunded for bank charges added in the past, have you ever incurred overdraft fees etc... on this account?  In any case they will probably send you a letter about it.

I don't have an overdraft on this account and can't recall having had any bank charges... But could well be something from years ago that I've forgotten. I've had this account since 2015.
I did think it might be some kind of refund but was thrown off by the nice round figure of £100.
I'll wait to see if something comes in the post and if not give NW a call next week.

You may even have a notification in your online banking somewhere, no idea how Nationwide work in that regard.
