Paid just over £1000 back in March 2018 for an 4000 posture spring mattress, but just recently 3 of the tufts have snapped and the material around the tuft holes is now fraying. Should the tufts snapp on an expensive mattress within 3 years, is this product fit for purpose, as Martin Lewis would say?

He might also observe that your question has nothing to do with Covid-related travel enquiries and that you'd be better starting your own thread on the consumer rights board....Supersaver7 said:Paid just over £1000 back in March 2018 for an 4000 posture spring mattress, but just recently 3 of the tufts have snapped and the material around the tuft holes is now fraying. Don't make the mistake of confusing fitness for purpose and a product being of satisfactory quality, which is what may apply here. You will need to contact the retailer but the onus will be on you to prove that the mattress is not of satisfactory quality and any fault is due to manufacture. You will need a specialist out to confirm this. Is their any warranty on the mattress?Supersaver7 said:Paid just over £1000 back in March 2018 for an 4000 posture spring mattress, but just recently 3 of the tufts have snapped and the material around the tuft holes is now fraying.
