Mattress Fault

Paid just over £1000 back in March 2018 for an 4000 posture spring mattress, but just recently 3 of the tufts have snapped and the material around the tuft holes is now fraying. Should the tufts snapp on an expensive mattress within 3 years, is this product fit for purpose, as Martin Lewis would say?

To test that, you need to get it inspected to determine if it's an inherent fault, wear and tear or due to misuse. Then you have recourse against the retailer.
Alternatively, did the manufacturer provide a warranty, did you register for it and are you still in period?0
