How to complain to Tesco

Does anyone know how to complain to Tesco? I sent in a complaint about my local store by email and had no response, so after a few days I phoned customer services, they made all  the right noises and took all my details, a week later and I still hadn’t heard anything. I complained on Twitter, via Facebook with no response from either. I filled in a form on the Tesco website but it wouldn’t send. I tried to email the chief executive but his email is unrecognised. You would think that they don’t want you to complain!!

They could be looking into your complaint and might not respond until they have completed their investigation.

Or they think your a crank and are ignoring you.

    What was your complaint?

Are you wanting Tesco to do something in response to your complaint - like, for example, give you a refund because of your statutory consumer rights?

Or are you just wanting an apology, and/or maybe a gesture of goodwill?

You could try a postal letter to the CEO at their head office:
Tesco Head Office. Falcon Way, Shire Park, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, AL7 1TW
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
