Who are claim hunters

I received a letter from "shop direct finance company" thanking me for my recent correspondence in relation to my ppi policy and that they have now completed their investigation and I will be receiving a cheque in the post, I contacted them as I thought this is a scam which turns out they are not and this is in fact true I will be getting a cheque.
I have now received a letter from "claim hunters" stating that once I receive the cheque I need to pay them their fee within 14 days of receiving the payment 
I have never received any correspondence prior than the letter I received today from claim hunters or new anything about this ppi claim until I received a letter a few days ago from shop direct finance. 
Please help I don't know what to do, do I ignore the letter from claim hunters as I have never heard of them and I certainly have signed any paperwork from this company and the only correspondence I've received is today.

Ask "Claim Hunters" to send you a copy of the agreement you signed.

How did shop direct receive your complaint?  did you make it yourself or did you click a link on facebook or a website?
You could ask shop direct if they have a letter of authority from Claim Hunters and state that you didn't enter into a contract with them or supply them with your signature and you are concerned they are doing something wrong.
