Postage and packing not covered under warranty

Hi all
The bulb in my oven has gone. I've ordered a new one as the oven is still under warranty but I've been advised the cost for postage is 7 pounds. Is postage covered under the warranty or would it be a separate cost?

You'd need to read the warranty to find out. There's no overriding rule that it ought to cover postage (or even bulbs).

What sort of bulb is it:
Does it look like one of these:
as you can pick these up from many electrical supply places for about £3 each.0 -
As above. The warranty may not cover bulbs because they could be considered consumable, but assuming it does, then the warranty wording will detail whether postage is covered or not.Wilko sell a couple of oven bulbs at £2, so if they sell the compatible one and the warranty doesn't cover postage, they're an option, and they are still open at the moment.0
