New Undisclosed Commision Claim with Litigation Management Agreement

Last week I had a call from the company who dealt with my PPI claim saying I did not get back the entire commision on one my claims (Plevin). They said they can start legal proceedings to claim the full amount but need me to sign a new agreement (LMA) and as it requires solicitors, they and the solicitors will take 48% (!) of any successful claim. Has anyone gone through this? They are really keen to get me to sign to get things rolling but I'd some feedback from anyone who has gone through this particular process.

Block their number.
They're purely trying to build a new suckers list. Don't put your name down.0 -

That would be correct. There was no requirement to return 100%. Just the excess over 50%.

Some companies make more money out of selling the client details to solicitors than they do out of the case outcome.

Thanks for the advice so far. I don't think I'm going to go along with this claim but I'll give some more details to see if that makes any difference!
The PPI company is The Fair Trade Practice (they had a few £££'s from me from all my PPI claims). I still have a contract with them and they are still dealing with an outstanding Black Horse claim for me (I know, I know with hindsight I would have dealt with the banks direct). The solicitors are RGL Management (?) and they are only specifying that they can try to claim back the full commission from my Egg loan which I've already had a payout from.0 -

If your refund was a Plevin (commission based) then you get a refund of any excess over 50%, there is nothing like the first Plevin case for reclaiming all commission (not least because commission is a perfectly legal and accepted process). You would essentially be funding them doing a fishing trip to court with no hope of winning.0 -
I think the general consensus is for me to tell them to 'do one'. So I will...0
