Hearing Aids - know nothing. Best one to get?

    Is that how you do it? Go to GP and tell them you've had a hearing test?
    that's what I did, just told the doctor what i had been told via by the tester in Boots (which was just a quick 15 min free check).  The GP then checked my ears for wax build up, he referred me to a ENT consultant as I also had sudden unset of tinnitus.  I'm waiting for a appointment for NHS hearing aids.  I know my GP advises to go down the NHS route first and i have been told by several people that they have had no issue with theirs
