Virgin Atlantic cancelled flight

There support are pretty much impossible to get through to. The flight got cancelled a few days after booking but they've automatically converted it to airline credit that has to be used by X date. Can I get a refund back to my account? I did buy their travel insurance.

Thanks Caz. It's funny how you have to go hunting for this stuff. They don't make it easy and include in their usual email.

Don't suppose you know the quickest way to request a refund? I tried calling them and spent 45 minutes on hold and gave up. Whatsapp not had a response in a week. Wish there was a refund form or something.
