Indoor security camera without Wi-Fi?

I don't know if this exists but I would like a security camera which does not need to be left plugged in and doesn't need to be connected the internet when I'm out.
I like to switch everything off when I go to work but I understand many of these need a connection to give live pictures.  With so many items like this online it's hard to find what I want. Would love any suggestions!

As above, hard to understand why you'd want an indoor security camera when you would only switch it on when you're at a home. Also I'd avoid turning off your broadband router every day because your internet provider might think there's a fault on the line and adjust your connection speed accordingly.

I want it to work on a charge or batteries so i can unplug it if I'm out, i don't need to keep my router plugged in because it doesen't need a phone line (5g hub).

Sounds like you'd need an outdoor camera that runs off batteries and access local storage. There's this one but I'm not sure it would even operate without being able to connect to wifi.

Also why not a wildlife type camera, I have 2 (for the garden) which run off batteries. Though if you want to cover several rooms this could get a bit pricey.
Not sure from your post whether you want to access the camera remotely whilst at work or just to be able to record activity in your house.

I know what you mean but cos this does not need the "ping" test thing like the home broadband!
