What would you do!!

Hi just received this message for an item buyer won on the 16th nov.

"I was very disappointed in this purchase when I received it.
The thing that had attracted me to this item on ebay, was the fact that it was mohair & wool. This is what the summary at the beginning of the listing stated.
I was so excited that I didn't notice that in the description part it mentioned velvet.
Unfortunately, I would not have bid on it if I had realised it was velvet.
I didn't want to leave negative feed back, but felt I should let you know about the mistake"

I havent made a mistake the title stated "velvet skirt" and it was mentioned at least twice in the description( mohair and wool was only mentioned in the item specifics(sp) as this was the fabric stated on label!!!

I feel really miffed as i KNOW i havent made a mistake and why take 17 days to tell me!!
How would you respond.
TIA

The buyer made the mistake, but she is writing with disappointment to let you know?

I don't think I would respond to be honest, otherwise I would probably get reported lol

You haven't done anything wrong at all so don't worry about it :)

People have the right to be stupid, but frankly your buyer abuses the privilege...

That's the sort of loser I dread. She doesn't want to let leave you a negative but thinks you should know of the mistake - priceless!
I would send a really friendly email saying sorry that she got over-excited and bid without reading the description and just state the title that you used ie "VELVET SKIRT", maybe caps and bold would be appropriate!

    Thanks for your replys.
I had to control the urge to reply back as i may have said to much!(thats why i came on here first to calm down lol)
The skirt even looks velvet in the photo, and it wasn't a last min bid either it was placed on the 14th nov.
I'm more miffed that she is telling me i have made a mistake:mad:
Maybe she needs a trip to specsavers.

Just email the buyer a link to the listing, and a link to Specsavers.
    Might be too subtle though...

I tend to write a long, sarcastic and nasty reply, then instead of hitting send I delete it, then I send the nice smarmy polite one, the first part makes me feel better and the second the customer.

    Hi
Have sent nice lady:rolleyes: a calm (ish) response,(did not mention specsavers)
Did think about ignoring it but feel so niggled:mad:
Had i made a genuine mistake i would hold my hands up and would have asked her to return skirt for a full refund.
Still not sure why she took so long to tell me of her disapointment in buying a velvet skirt that was velvet.
Anyway i can really feel my first NEG winging it's way to me(am tempted to get in first).

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
