Do most or all car/van rental places require at least 2 years old driving licence?

  • The thing is I’m well qualified to do the job, I’ve spent most of the past year driving vans / tail lifts 12-14 hours per day - crazy shifts. Even 48 long shift once over xmas, plus I when I think about it, I’ve got a decade worth of driving experience throughout my life.

Not one point ever except that one time I went full retard and they took my licence.
  • Would really suck if I had to wait another year until I can do a driving job. Would be too late anyway, I’m sure within a year I’ll be able to make a living teaching people how to get fit and eat healthy.

Times like these make me wish I wasn’t dumb and accumulated some savings so I could concentrate on building my business now instead of worrying if I’ll have to get stuck in some factory for several more months hating myself and the whole world.
  • Think I’m going to get a security guard or whatever it’s called licence and do bouncer work until gyms reopen.

    Thanks everyone for replies :)

You might need to declare the DUI on your application for that - just a heads up!

Not declaring it won't help. You will have to do a DBS check for security work.
