Tandem offering 0.60% on 1 yr fixed but 1.05% on MSE

I have a 1 yr fixed saver with Tandem due to mature and they've emailed saying I can reinvest for another year at 0.60%. However on looking on MSE I see Tandem are offering 1.05% for a 1 yr fixed.  Why haven't they offered me the better rate?

Not sure why they are offering a lower rate when the advertised rate, as at 17:30 today, is that 1.05%

You need to figure out whether they have FSCS protection. That's the only security you can have, and certainly a lot more secure than the opinion of some strangers on the Internet

I've been with them for a couple of years and have had no issues.  Apart from the fixed saver I also used to have a credit card but gave that up when they started charging a monthly fee.
