unpaid leave

Apologies for crashing someone else's thread - not my intention.
I started a new job in February this year, throughout Lockdown from 1st April I was furloughed. In July I started back to work - working only 3 days a week as it was part furlough part employer paid. The business is travel trade.... bringing tourism to the UK. My employer then asked me to go on unpaid leave from 13 November till March as there has been no income this year. Am I entitled to be furloughed with Chancellors latest announcement today of furlough being extended till March 21. Any advice appreciated.

No one is entitled to be furloughed, it's entirely the decision of your employer. It also costs them to do this. How many hours are you contracted for?

Also, if you are on a 'permanent' contract you don't have to agree to take unpaid leave, the alternative might be redundancy and you probably won't get any redundancy pay but you would get any notice pay, from the date the redundancy is confirmed not the date they started a consultation from.  Also note going on unpaid leave doesn't make you immune from redundancy next April.
