i placed an order with currys they took the order accepted it soon as the page come upo with notification it went page not found so ive had no confirmation tried getting through to currys help line no joy just waste of time and idiots but the money has left the bank what can i do as they are saying i need confirmation but i have none

You say you couldn't get through to them but also say that they've said you need confirmation. It can't be both. You need to either contact curry's and get the order sorted or contact your bank and get the funds back.

I take it that you are just showing a drop in available funds & not a actual debit on the statement. So it is possible that it will not debit your account, as you did not get the confirmation.
Just do not try again till you get confirmation that the order was not placed from Currys, as it could still debit. 14 days a authorisation can sit there for.
