Chessington Holidays issued a voucher not a refund
wannadie
My chessington holiday has just been cancelled and they issued a voucher not a refund.
I could really do with the cash at the moment.
How do I get a refund. Can't find a phone number or email address anywhere.
Thanks,
Matthew

When you contact them I suggest you say that you are unable to take them up on a visit before the voucher is redeemable and that you are tied up in work for the forseeable future and would like a refund. They should respect that. However it does seem to have a non refundable policy.
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

This is in response to an FAQ of "Can I cancel my booking and get a refund for my pre-booked tickets". Given that it was Chessington themselves who cancelled the original booking then under consumer rights law the OP is entitled to a full refund.twopenny said:However it does seem to have a non refundable policy.1 -

Managed to find a way to send them a message. They do not have much contact information available.ThumbRemote said:

They did offer a refund and asked me to provide a probably unnecessary amount of booking information.I suspect that I am entitled to a refund and the tactic is to make it difficult for people in the hope they will not bother.
Thanks all for your help.0
