Redundancy On 31/10 and Furlough

Options
Hi
I was made redundant on the 31/10 and will be paid redundancy as well as 12 weeks notice and holidays not taken at the end of November.
Could I ask how I will stand under the 23/09 rule of rehiring if the company rehired me specific to redundancy payments and 12 weeks notice/holidays?
Thank you

It would seem that you could be rehired, but your employer may not want to do so.

You'd need to repay the monies. What's the likelihood of the Company rehiring you. Are the Company's fortunes going to improve in what could be a difficult and challenging few months.  Remember this is a job protection scheme with a long term view. Not simply a way of paying people in the short term. .
  • So as he is working his main job as per normal, his employer of his 2nd job can claim furlough for him, if he wants too?
