Canon Printer Drivers

Cannot seem to use the software supplied with myCanon MP510 multifunction. The scanner page freezes over & computer has to be restarted. It will scan & print but it is not using the Canon software/drivers to do this.
Any ideas????

It is probably using the built in Operating System drivers for it, try getting latest drivers from http://software.canon-europe.com/0
