You have missed the fact that the MP,s voted on this in the 2019 Parking bill which came into royal assent over 18 months ago , recently the public consultation finished from the Mhclg and BSI for the new CoP , expected to start in the new year , 2021

Hopefully this will reign them in and make them follow stricter guidelines etc

Very much doubt they would trawl through the thousands of entries on the database even if a) there was such a thing and b) they were allowed to, as posted by @Redx.

Parking scammers read this forum. It is more likely a poster will say they were driving and the scammers will take a screen-grab in addition to other unique information posted in a thread, than them having a name and address with photo' to compare it to.
