    So long as they have informed their PPCs that this has been done and to either, not issue PCNs or give additional time.

    Overstaying the "free" period - assuming it is one of those car parks that limit customers to a time period.  Of course, not all supermarkets are the same.  If shoppers are forced to wait in their car and then have to take extra time in the shop, the likelihood of being in the car park for longer than the PPC imposed restriction is greater.
  • the risk will be if you have to enter your vrn on a tablet thing when you enter store 
    having said that asda are doing this "sit in car" for publisity , same as another mod saying if it was raining they would hand out <in big words> SANITISED umberellas

    havi ng been to tesco this morning there are no queues , there are no shortages of bread etc
