Unusual sleep disturbance

  • Are you physically tired when you go to bed?  If I've had a sedentary day I struggle to sleep, I need to have done some sort of exercise/physical work to get a good night, and with lockdown a lot of people are moving less, wfh etc.

I honestly think it is likely to be lockdown 'fever.' I have had the weirdest dreams since March, even remembering some when I wake (unusual) and a lot of them relate to whatever is happening in the news. I hasten to add I am not a 'news' addict- it's only what happens on the on-the-hour resume on radio. No TV here!
Having a footsoak in Epsom salts (magnesium) may help getting off to sleep.
Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

  • I have been exhausted, but I do need to up the exercise. Last night I slept much better and woke up a 9am which was an absolute treat.
We don't have a TV so don't even watch the news, just pick a few bits up from the headlines etc.
I know a glass of red will give me a great night sleep, but refuse to do this, I'm not much of a drinker anyway but seems like a slippery slope
