Pretty sure you could simply double up on the same hooks, or add an eyelet on to the hooks and hang the blackout lining from the eyelets.0 -
Yes, I 'd have to double check but I think I've got the hooks going through both the lining and the curtain.Apodemus said:Rony said:I see what you are saying, however I have curtain tracks rather than a rod. Yes, double up on the hook. No problem. Dunelm do all sorts of proper blackout curtain linings and you could get them online during lockdown?elsien said:

I've used black out linings that you just add to the hooks already there. You can tack the edges to the curtains if you want but loose you are able to tuck the lining into the window sill at the edges and get better blackout. Those that are with the curtains aren't blackout linings.Just been to the fabric shop to get the blackout fabric which is even better. But it will be a lockdown job to tack them into the curtain. The light at the top I'm still working on how to eliminate and tried various headdings. My thought is a pelmet front or back of the curtains. Not smart but effective. From someone who has LED streetlight outside and 3am sunrise in summer!
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!
