I Won from Mumszone... still waiting

  • To be fair it would have been much politer to ask on the forum itself where the competition is rather than on another site where it does then look like a complaint or alternatively to have emailed the admin to see if there had been a hold up. It doesn't look very good on any site when someone is posting to say a prize hasn't been received.

I generally try to get all prizes out as soon as possible, however, most prizes come direct from competition sponsors rather myself.

Thanks dollop. some people are mean aren't they?!
no one has been mean to you, you are the one moaning about your prize and you even said to dollap 'If you've been waiting 5 months for a car and not asked where it is then you'll probably not going to get it.', maybe if you was a regular member and read everything on mse you would realise that dollap has given birth to a baby herself and delivered it and also been in constant contact with the people she has won the car from:mad: Maybe you shouldnt do comps if you cant wait a bit for your prize:rolleyes:

I've just come out of hospital after a major operation, but I don't go on about it. My point is we all have problems and I only asked a little question. Let's all just play nicely together and say no more...

I'm a lovely person really and never intended to offend anyone. Never thought a simple question would cause such as kerfuffle :(

    Big hugs for everyone

Phew what a thread! My thoughts are with you all that have suffered losing a loved one, hospital operations & trips!

purplevamp - congrats on the win & I'm sure it will be with you soon :) I do tend to wait around 4 - 6 weeks before I politely follow up the prize :) Have one at the moment that I won at the start of October, I emailed again half way through November & was reassured it was being chased so will leave it another 2 weeks then send a gentle reminder to them again. Sometimes real life just intrudes when we least expect it to.
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

I know! I only asked a simple question and got my head bitten off!! Like I said it's my first win and just wondered what the response time was. I never moaned anywhere in the question!! I've just won tickets to Enchanted for this Sunday and was going to take my 5 year old daughter but she's in Wales for her grandads 70th birthday. I'm not as I can't travel after my op, bummer!!
