    If you have a twitter profile it could be worth sending a message highlighting the difficulties you are experiencing in getting this issue progressed.

    For some strange reason big companies like EDF don't like seeing negative posts on social media and put additional effort into investigating your case. Don't include all your account details but give them the opportunity to provide a direct contact for you to respond to.

    I think this is going to take a while to resolve 😬
    It needs urgent attendance as your heating is basically unpowered until a fitter puts in the right cable for you! 
  • I have an emergency engineer appointment booked, not sure when that means they will arrive but they booked it in

    I have an emergency engineer appointment booked, not sure when that means they will arrive but they booked it in
    Sounds about right. That means an engineer would attend as soon as possible. Hopefully, they are trained to notice there is something seriously wrong! (My photo shows the usual way of installing, you can probably notice a significant difference)

    They will be here in an hour. Fingers crossed he can fix it

    Update us when the engineer is here and get it fixed. 
  • All fixed. He had not connected 4 wires up and he was shocked how badly he had fitted it. Hopefully should be working now. Thanks for all your help guys
