Balance transfer on 0% and interest charges

I have just got Barclaycard on the 0% interest on balance transfers with a 2.5% charge for the BT. I am wondering though - will this charge count as a purchase and therefore not qualify for the 0% ? still worse any payments will not pay this off until the whole of the BT has been paid off? Any advice much appreciated.

I think you're OK with Barclaycard, though I'm sure someone will confirm it for you.
RBS issued cards seem to be the ones counting the BT as a purchase.Dave. :wave:0 -
Barclaycard maintains this unwelcome practice was dropped some months ago.
LTSB still charges interest on the BT fee, likewise RBS as noted above.People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.0
