Hi
I hope all are well and safe as another lockdown is in place
I need some advice I was told to self isolate as my son had symptoms of CD19 and take the test and only return once get the Negative result I agree that all 3 off took test all three got negative results but my result too long to come back as I had an email from my manager if I return I would get what lost in salary for the days I was off for self-isolation
when I got the October payslip no change as it was my normal as it was for Aug I spoke to my manager with regards to her email and now she says what she was saying if I come back to work within the month of September I would have got the pay as I came back September but as I went back on1 /10/20 I was not entitled to but this not my fault as the result came late and so why should I lose out on over £800.00 of my salary money is tight at present and Xmas coming up not help either plus I still have normal bills to pay Mortage council tax light bill broadband ETC
Who do I turn to for help as this issue has left a sore taste in my mouth and with the place of work I now to my hours no more and take breaks that I should if the can do this and not care then why should I long as I do my work in the hours in my contract no more overtime for free or working lunches
I now the persons sending the letters are busy be via email or post and the later is having issues as well at present climate
await your advice
