No. If it's the same as my DRO, I wasn't notified at the end of the first year at all. But you should receive all the relevant information when you apply for a DRO. I applied through StepChange, they helped me every step of the way (pun intended). https://www.stepchange.org/
The information does not immediately disappear from the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Registry after a year - and it is a public document that anyone who wishes can refer to. It was a shock to see my name on there but I got over it!
At one stage, I did need proof that the DRO had ended and had to write to the Head of Debt Relief Orders for the Insolvency Service to ask for confirmation that it had ended because it had disappeared from the Register. Nobody really bothered with me after the DRO had been approved.
The notification of DRO stays on your credit report/s for 6 years from the day of being granted. That means that you're in the 'financial undesirables' group for a few years.
But once the six year period is over, things do start to improve, or at least they did in my case. I found having a DRO a bit challenging but very well worth it in the end. It isn't meant to be easy, though. It taught me so much about budgeting, which I'd never really done before. Now, I am a budget expert!
Good luck, I do hope that info helps, although it's only from my own personal experience. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
