Swimming Lessons cancelled 7 out of 8 times

Hi
i have paid for a block of 5 lessons with a local independent swimming company. The company cancelled the first two lessons, then increased the price of lessons allegedly due to insurance premiums and said we would only be receiving 4 instead of 5. After complaining about constant cancellations and requesting a refund, we eventually had 1 lesson. Overall we have booked in lessons on 8 different occasions and they have been cancelled 7 times with different reasons each time. Given it is an independent business we gave them many chances. However we have contacted them again and they are refusing to refund. Not sure where to go. If there is any direction or idea, that would be great. Many thanks.

This is in the wrong subforum - hopefully a moderator will move it.
Do they give any reason for refusal?
Anyway basically you are looking at a letter before action, then a small claims court case. It's quite easy and you don't need legal representation. Often the threat is enough.0 -
Many thanks. I’m new to this. Apologies for adding to the wrong place. Appreciate the direction. All the best.0

Many different btw. Stuck in traffic, insurance issue, leaky roof. 4 of the 7 were no reason at all. Just cancelled.0
